OVERVIEW
The RasterOps Video Capture is an Adobe Photoshop Acquisition Plug-in for the ColorBoard 364, RasterOps 24STV, and RasterOps 24XLTV. It will let you grab images from these boards directly into Photoshop. The acquired images are presented to Photoshop in RGBColor format.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
To use this plug-in you need Adobe Photoshop Ver. 1.0 or later, any Macintosh II Family computer with System 6.0.5 or later, 32-bit QuickDraw, and one of the following: RasterOps ColorBoard 364, RasterOps 24STV, or RasterOps 24XLTV.
INSTALLATION & OPERATION
Place the "RasterOps Video Capture" file in your Photoshop Preferences folder, run Photoshop and select Acquire from the Photoshop File menu. A dialog will appear on the ColorBoard 364, the RasterOps 24STV, or the RasterOps 24XLTV, whichever is found first. You can control the following:
(1) Image size to be grabbed. Choices are: (a) 320x240 pixels 50% reduced, (b) 320x240 pixels, (c) 640x480 pixels, or (d) maximum size, which depends on the board and the color encoding being used.
(2) Video source: composite or S-Video. For the RasterOps 24XLTV you can also select a second composite source or separate RGB.
(3) Color encoding (RasterOps 24STV and RasterOps 24XLTV only): NTSC, PAL, or SECAM.
When the hand cursor appears you can drag the mouse to change the video source rectangle.
When you're ready to grab, click the Grab button and the image will be converted into RGBColor format and displayed in a new Photoshop window. Click Cancel to abort the image acquisition.
